A great competition victory for Caldicot BC! Congratulations to our Trophy Winners.

A Caldicot BC rink of Brian Avery, Brian John, Alun Parker and Nigel Stoe were victorious in the Newport Over 60s Rinks Competition held at Croesyceiliog BC- well done chaps, great win.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (MENS SECTION) was held on Wed 18th Aug
⦁ Officers / Captains /selection Cttees were appointed for next season
⦁ Annual membership fee for 2022 reported to be £50, payable by end Apr’22
⦁ Pre-season mtg (mens section) will be Wed 30th March 7-00 pm 2022.

Maintenance – Working Party
⦁ Various forms of maintenance work will be done between Oct-Mar.
⦁ Mon 27th Sep – 10:00 am. – a working party is needed to clear around the Green ie. benches and gutter matting removal. Please come along and help if possible.

Christmas Party – Saturday 4th Dec.
⦁ Details will be posted at the Club nearer the date.
⦁ We will need to know attendance numbers so if wanting to attend please ensure your names are recorded.

⦁ IMPORTANT: As you will know all legal restrictions for Covid protection have now been lifted and so we are able to function as normal. However, ALL should remember that the coronavirus still exists in our communities and each of us should take care and follow good hygienic practices to ensure we all continue to stay safe.

    just a line to thank you for the very warm welcome and the superb food brenda and the ladies supplied i would recommend every bowling club to come to caldicot, its a pity we did not have our full team of bowlers and singers but that what covid does. thanks ounce again and hope we see you next year. – Duncan
